Today, I pumped for the first time, was successful, AND Travis was able to feed Carson with a bottle!
I am so excited to see that he is taking the bottle without too much fussing.

Daddy's first time feeding Carson
My goal as a mother is to exclusively breastfeed my son. But I was struggling with the idea of having to do it (possibly) in public someday and having to hide away at someone's house to nurse. I want to be able to be out of the house for more than three hours at a time. I had discussed these issues with my sister-in-law and she offered her pump that was barely used. I gladly accepted!
Today, I pumped for the first time, was successful, AND Travis was able to feed Carson with a bottle!

Yay! So glad that this worked so well for you. I did it this way also and it really helped give me a little freedom every once in awhile. Plus, it is SO great to have Daddy's help with some of the feedings... it creates a neat trusting/bonding relationship. :) -Heather
